PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal conveyor which can lower the height of a game machine island because it can convey game media horizontally by a rotation of a rotation member without driving a conveyance path, and, when the rotation member is damaged, can be repaired by exchanging the member only so that maintenance can be done quickly and easily, the number of parts becomes small and it becomes cost-effective. SOLUTION: This game medium carrier has a conveyance path having slanted faces slanted downward in the conveying direction, game medium inlets each of which corresponds to the upstream slanted face of the adjacent slanted faces, game medium outlets each of which corresponds to the downstream slanted face, lifting paths each of which has roughly a curved dent shape and is located between the slanted faces so that the outlet is positioned above the inlet, rotation members each of which is located separately above the curved dent of the lift path and has a conveyance board formed in the width direction of the conveyance path, jam protection mechanisms each of which is located near the inlet of the lifting path, and lifting means each of which has a driving mechanism for the rotation member.
