摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce magnetic saturation accordingly to aim at an increase in reluctance torque. <P>SOLUTION: The reluctance motor 1 is provided with a rotor 11 and a stator 12. The rotor 11, which can be rotated on a prescribed shaft 91, is a magnetic substance having a plurality of portions 111 protruded only to the external peripheral side of the rotor itself. The stator 12, having first to sixth windings, is installed to be opposed from the external peripheral side relating to the rotor 11. A first phase current is allowed to flow through the first/second windings. A second phase current is allowed to flow through the third/fourth windings. A third phase current is allowed to flow through the fifth/sixth windings. The first, third and fifth windings are arranged adjacently along the circumference 92 around the prescribed shaft 91 in this order, to be wound clockwise as viewed from the internal peripheral side with one end serving as the starting point.
