<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of quickly obtaining a printed matter in a printing environment in which a plurality of printers are provided, a printing instructing device and a printing destination selection program. <P>SOLUTION: In a client device 20, a print data generating part 23 generates print data about an instruction, and a printing time predicting part 24 analyzes the generated print data and predicts printing time in each of a plurality of printers. In parallel with this, a printed matter acquisition time calculating part 25 acquires a movement time from a place (desk) where the client device 20 is arranged to each of the plurality of printers from a movement time storing part 22. The printed matter acquisition time calculating part 25 calculates a printed matter acquisition time for each of the plurality of printers by using them. An output destination selecting part 26 selects a printer having the shortest printed matter acquisition time among the calculated printed matter acquisition times as a printing destination, and a print data transmitting part 27 transmits the print data to the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
