PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless broadcast receiving apparatus which discriminates various antenna classes and enables the characteristics of the apparatus to be individually adjusted in accordance with the discriminated antenna classes. SOLUTION: A car audio 1 including the wireless broadcast receiving apparatus is a wireless broadcast receiving apparatus equipped with demodulation means 4-7 for demodulating reception signals received by an antenna 2 and a connection means 12 with another on-vehicle device 8. The wireless broadcast receiving apparatus is characterized in that it is equipped with an antenna discriminating means 11a which grounds terminals of a combination corresponding to the class of the antenna 2 among a plurality of terminals 13 of the connection means 12 and discriminates the class of the antenna 2 from the combination of grounded or non-grounded terminals.
