PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a liquid crystal display device capable of simplifying the wiring connection of flexible printed circuit boards to a driving circuit board when using the flexible printed circuit boards of the same specification for a front side liquid crystal display panel and a rear side liquid crystal display panel superposed to each other and capable of improving cutting efficiency of the flexible printed circuit boards. SOLUTION: Long-size parts SF of the flexible printed circuit boards FPC1, FPC2 of the same specification having U shape flat surface are respectively made in press contact with the long edges of the same sides of a front side liquid crystal display panel PNL1 and a rear side liquid crystal display panel PNL2. Each of the flexible printed circuit boards FPC1, FPC2 has a wide-width part IF which is folded at one edge of the long-size part SF into a U shape and is extended with a length shorter than the long-size part SF along the long-size part SF. A plurality of folds (parts where a cover film is linearly stripped) NTC are formed on the wide-width part IF and a fold is selected in accordance with a wiring distance up to the driving circuit board disposed on the rear surface.
