PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic printing toner having good charging characteristics and dispersibility and giving high image density and excellent texture and an electrophotographic printing method using the toner, and to provide an economical electrophotographic printing method by which the work efficiency of printing is enhanced and to which on-demand property is provided. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic printing toner contains a colorant and a resin, wherein the colorant is a dye and a resin (A) having a rate of dissolution in a 10-14C paraffin oil at 25°C being 0-10% and a rate of dissolution in a 10-14C paraffin oil at 100°C being 80-100% is contained as the resin.
