PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the detection precision of resin pressure during a metering process (during back pressure control). SOLUTION: The injection molding machine comprises a headstock keeping the rear part of a heating cylinder fixed, a holding block loaded with a driving source for injection, a screw arranged rotatably and forward/backward movably in the heating cylinder, a rotator keeping the rear end of the screw fixed, and a direct drive block which holds the rotator rotatably and can move forward/backward in relation to the headstock, wherein a load cell unit is arranged to be held between the headstock and the front end part of the holding block, part of the load cell unit is fixed to the head stock, and another part of the load cell unit is fixed to the front end part of the holding block.
