HYDROGEN PRODUCTION APPARATUS AND FUEL CELL POWER GENERATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production apparatus where temperatures in a reforming section and a carbon monoxide removing section are properly maintained even if the amounts of a raw material gas and water supplied to a preheating and vaporizing section are varied.

SOLUTION: The hydrogen production apparatus is equipped with the preheating and vaporizing section 6 to vaporize water and to heat the raw material gas, the reforming section 8 to generate a reformed gas by the steam reforming reaction of the raw material gas with steam and the carbon monoxide removing section 10 to remove carbon monoxide in the reformed gas. The preheating and vaporizing section 6 consists of a first vaporizing section 6a and a second vaporizing section 6b to vaporize water which is not vaporized in the first vaporizing section 6a. A partition 11 surrounding the second vaporizing section 6b is prepared and an opening 12 is opened at the partition 11. An introducing path 13 where steam vaporized in the first vaporizing section 6a and steam vaporized in the second vaporizing section 6b flow together is formed between the partition 11 and the second vaporizing section 6b. A mixed gas flow path 14 by which the raw material gas and steam supplied from the preheating and vaporizing section 6 through the introducing path 13 and passed through the opening 12 are supplied in the reforming section 8 is formed.
