<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an authentication error by forming a fingerprint authentication function part that fits to a fingertip so that a fingerprint sensor constantly comes into slidable contact at a fixed position and to form the fingerprint authentication function part of an information apparatus, reduced in thickness and size. <P>SOLUTION: In this information apparatus with the fingerprint authentication function part for identifying a person from fingerprint data obtained by bringing a fingerprint part of a fingertip into slidable contact on a fingerprint sensor, a concave part having a shape similar to an outer form of a fingertip is formed on the surface of a case, and the fingerprint sensor is provided at a constricted part of the concave part so as to obtain an information apparatus with a fingerprint authentication function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
