<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable light scanning without a high cost. <P>SOLUTION: An optical scanning device has a refractive face and a diffraction face changing respective powers in response to temperature change and includes a coupling lens 2 for suppressing a beam waist position change of a main scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction on a face to be scanned due to temperature change by wavelength change of an optical beam from a surface emitting semiconductor laser 1 caused by power change and temperature change of the refractive face and the diffraction face. Since the coupling lens 2 emits a light flux from the surface emitting semiconductor laser 1 as substantially parallel light, the focal distance can be set without depending on optical characteristics of a scanning optical system. In addition, since the shape of the diffraction face of the coupling lens 2 corrects only the change of the optical characteristics of itself, versatility is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
