<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone which can generate smoothly a text data which consists of two or more character codes and a user image data when a text of an e-mail is created etc. <P>SOLUTION: A thumb-nail history display control part 14 reads out, from a thumb-nail image storage part 32, a thumb-nail image data corresponding to a history information memorized in a user image selection history memory section 331, based on a user operation, when text data, such as text of e-mail, are created, and makes a listing display of the thumb-nail image. A user can choose any thumb-nail image from the listing display, and read out a user image data corresponding to the thumb-nail image from a user image storage part 41.
