PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a mounting process and a printed circuit board for mounting an electronic component, by providing the electronic component, to be disposed in a branch connector, in a circuit without mounting it on the circuit board. SOLUTION: A conductive metal sheet is stamped to provide a bus bar. In this bus bar, a fist long portion connected to mains and a second long portion connected to conductors on the side of a plurality of the branch lines are provided side by side, the first long portion is connected to the second one by a connecting part for cutting with a space left between them, terminal parts are projected from the second long portion in the direction opposite to the first long portion with a space left in its length direction, a pressure contact part is raised from the side portion of each terminal part connected to the branch line side, and another pressure contact part is raised on the first long portion positioned face to face with each pressure contact part. Lead wires at both ends of an electronic component are brought into pressure contact and connected with the facing pressure contact parts of the first and second long portions, the first long portion is connected with the terminal part connected to each branch line side with the electronic component interposed between them, and the connecting part for cutting is cut and removed after the bus bar is housed and fixed in a connector housing.
