PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel consumption rate improving device capable of specifying a reason of the lowering of mileage. SOLUTION: The fuel consumption rate improving device comprises a fuel economy monitoring means for monitoring a fuel consumption rate of a vehicle, a cargo monitoring means monitoring a cargo loading state in the vehicle, a left cargo specifying means for specifying whether the cargo is left in the vehicle or not on the basis of monitoring information by the cargo monitoring means, and a cargo removal recommending means for recommending the removal of the left cargo when the standing of the cargo is specified by the left cargo specifying means and the lowering satisfying predetermined condition is generated in the fuel consumption rate monitored by the fuel economy monitoring means.
