PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a structure for joining precast reinforced concrete beam members to each other, which achieve the shortening of a construction period, and which are excellent in constructibility and economic efficiency. SOLUTION: Notched portions 1a and 1b are provided at the joint ends of the beam member 1, respectively. Through-holes 2 passing through the notched portions are provided, respectively. The two precast reinforced concrete beam members, which comprise a sleeve joint 3 partially or wholly embedded in the though-hole 2, are positioned in such a manner as to be arranged in an opposed state by getting closer to each other almost in an abutting state. Approximately U-shaped connecting members 4 and 4, which can be inserted into the through-holes 2 of the beam member 1 and 1 in a straddling manner, are inserted into the sleeve joints 3 in the through-holes 2 from the outside, and housed in the notched portions, respectively. After that, a hardening material 5 is infilled into the through-holes and the notched portions, so that a sleeve joint portion cab be fixed and so that the precast reinforced concrete beam members can be joined together.
