PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for a polyvinyl chloride resin suitable for various molding methods represented by an extrusion molding method, a calendar molding method and an injection molding method that enhances resistance to coloration on molding and molding processability (gelation time and the retention of balanced torque) of a molded article of the polyvinyl chloride resin without the detriment to heat resistance and impact resistance. SOLUTION: The additive for a polyvinyl chloride resin comprises a polymer containing a glycidyl (meth)acrylate unit.
