PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coupling product by a carbon-carbon bond-producing reaction by the Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of an aromatic boric acid compound and an aromatic triflate ester in the presence of a solid catalyst easily separated from a reaction product. SOLUTION: This method for producing the coupling product by a carbon-carbon bond-producing reaction comprises subjecting an aromatic boric acid compound and an aromatic triflate ester to Suzuki-Miyaura coupling in a wet state in the presence of a palladium/carbon catalyst.
