PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die cut roll which is composed of: a die cutter provided with a projecting pressing cutter forming a cutting edge by matching it with a shape of a product to be cut on a surface of a rotary driving roll; and an anvil roll for receiving the cutting edge of the projecting pressing cutter of the die cutter, and which prevents occurrence of minute chipping of the cutting edge of the projecting pressing cutter at the beginning of operation. SOLUTION: A finished inclined face 4 having surface roughness Ra of 0.1μm or less is formed at the cutting edge of the projecting pressing cutter of the die cutter. The width and the vertical angle of the cutting edge formed in the axial direction of the die cutter are formed to be smaller than the width and the vertical angle of the cutting edge formed in the peripheral direction of the die cutter, respectively.
