PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine having a new entertainment characteristic. SOLUTION: The slot machine according to the present invention comprises: a display which has a winning line and to which a plurality of symbols are arranged; a selection switch for selecting a symbol that is to be a particular symbol out of the plurality of symbols; and a controller for determining the symbol corresponding to an input from the selection switch as the particular symbol, allotting a prize, in an event that a predetermined number or more of at least one particular symbol are arranged to the display as a result of rearrangement of the plurality of symbols arranged to the display, and allotting a prize corresponding to a combination of the symbols rearranged on the winning line in an event that the combination of the symbols is a predetermined winning combination.
