A vise plier for connecting pipes and a method of connecting pipe using the same vise plier are provided to joint an insertion pipe to a joint pipe by installing an auxiliary vise plier to a movable jaw of a base vise plier, wherein the auxiliary vise plier rotates horizontally about the base vise plier. A vise plier for connecting pipes comprise a first vise plier(100) and a second vise plier(200). The first vise plier includes a first fixed jaw(110), a first fixed handle(120), a first pivoted jaw(130), and a first pivoted handle(140). The first fixed jaw is provided with a fixed plate(111) through which a pipe is inserted. The first fixed handle is attached to the first fixed jaw and provided with a support(121). The first pivoted jaw is connected with the first fixed handle by a spring(131) and a hinge, and provided with a rotation hole. The first pivoted handle is connected to the first pivoted jaw by a hinge(141), connected to the first fixed handle by a cam plate(142), and provided with a movable support(143). The second plier includes a second fixed jaw, a second fixed handle, a second pivoted jaw(230), and a second pivoted handle(240). The second fixed jaw has a connection member(201) which is rotated by a rotary shaft inserted in the rotation hole of the first fixed jaw. One end of the second fixed handle is attached to the second fixed jaw. The other end of the second fixed handle receives a control knob. The second pivoted jaw connected to the second fixed handle by a spring and a hinge. The second pivoted handle is attached to the second pivoted jaw by a hinge, and connected to the second fixed handle by a cam plate. The second vise plier is vertical to the first vise plier and rotates in a horizontal direction of the first vise plier. |
