An oscillator for a semiconductor device is provided to maintain duration time of an internal control signal constant by generating a reference clock with a constant clock cycle regardless of the variation of a power supply voltage and temperature. A reference voltage generation circuit generates a reference voltage by dividing a power supply voltage. A first input signal generation circuit(113) outputs the power supply voltage according to the level of a second output signal or discharges the power supply voltage, and includes a PMOS transistor supplying charges to an output stage during power supply voltage discharge. A second input signal generation circuit(115) outputs the power supply voltage according to the level of a first output signal or discharges the power supply voltage, and includes a PMOS transistor supplying charges to the output stage during the power supply voltage discharge. A first comparison part(431) compares an output voltage of the first input signal generation circuit with the reference voltage. A second comparison part(433) compares an output voltage of the second input signal generation part with the reference voltage. A pulse generation part generates a first output signal and a second output signal, in response to the output of the first and the second comparison part. The second output signal has an opposite level to the first output signal.
