<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitting device capable of thinning electronic equipment using the same as a backlight, by aiming at thinning itself. <P>SOLUTION: The surface light-emitting device 10 is provided with a linear light source device 12 with a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged on a long-shape wiring board, and a printed wiring board conductively connecting the linear light source device 12 with an outside power source through a wiring part. Light from the light-emitting elements is to be irradiated as illumination light from a light guide plate 11 arranged in opposition to a light-irradiation face of the linear light source device 12, and the printed wiring board 13 is arranged with its end face shoved against a face opposite to a face where the light-emitting elements of the wiring board are arranged, conductively connected through a soldering 19 with a power source terminal formed on a face to be an opposite side to the light guide plate 11 of the wiring board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
