<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a faucet to a bathtub even without a wide piping space on the back side of a wall and to prevent hot water and water from leaking from a faucet attaching part and going around to the upper edge surface of the bathtub and the back side of the wall as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: On the upper edge surface 3 of the bathtub 1, a faucet attaching part 7 projecting above the upper edge surface, whose inside is turned to a hollow shape, is provided. The faucet attaching part has an upper surface part 8 positioned above the upper edge surface and provided in parallel with the upper edge surface and a side face part 9 connecting the upper surface part and the upper edge surface. The faucet 13A for wall attachment is attached to the side face part 9. Thus, even in the case that hot water overflows from the bathtub to the upper edge surface, the hot water is not splashed to the faucet attaching part and the space on the back side of the faucet attaching part is utilized as a wiring space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
