<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for a flat conductor with easy insertion into a connector of a flat conductor and capable of preventing coming off by assuring locking force. <P>SOLUTION: A locking member 30 is made of a metal plate, with its plate face arranged in parallel with a terminal 20 and attached to a housing 10. The locking member 30 contains a pressure receiving arm 35 and a locking arm 36 extended from a coupling part 34 at positions respectively corresponding to a support arm 25 and a contact arm 26 of the terminal 20. The pressure receiving arm 35 includes a pressure receiving part 35A receiving force from a cam part 43 of a pressurizing member 40 at rotating of the pressurizing member 40 to a closing position. The pressure receiving arm 35 displaces toward a direction distancing itself from a flat conductor P by receiving force at the pressure receiving part 35A, and the locking arm 36, equipped with a locking protrusion part 36A facing to the flat conductor P, receives force by the displacement of the pressure receiving arm 35 through the coupling part 24 to displace the locking arm 36, so that the locking protrusion part 36A is locked with a locked part P1 of the flat conductor P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
