PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional hybrid circuit requires formation of coupled transmission lines on the front and rear faces of a substrate to obtain a desired coupling performance, which requires complicated processing using through-holes. SOLUTION: The hybrid circuit employs a coupled transmission line consisting of a first transmission line and a second transmission line. The first transmission line consists of a ground and a first strip conductor, and has a length of about one fourth of that of electric waves having the operating frequency. The second transmission line consists of a ground and a second strip conductor, and has a length of about one fourth of that of electric waves having the operating frequency and is arranged in parallel to the first transmission line. At least one portion of the first strip conductor is extended to be overlapped with the second strip conductor to form a capacity coupling structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
