PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress KTC noise and charge sharing, and to achieve a high conversion gain by arranging drive transistors using the channel of a carbon nanotube. SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging apparatus has a signal charge detection section 25 for converting a signal charge obtained by photoelectrically converting incident light to voltage. The signal charge detection section 25 arranges a drive transistor 31 having a channel 32 of a carbon nanotube on a channel region 21 between a horizontal output gate 24 and a reset gate 26 in the solid-state imaging apparatus 1 via an insulation film 22.
