PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and reliability, by preventing start of a compressor body during reverse rotation of the compressor body. SOLUTION: The compressor body 1 is connected with a reservoir tank 23 through an introducing pipe 24, and a check valve 25 is disposed along the introducing pipe 24. A pressure sensor 26 is disposed to the reservoir tank 23, and a control unit 29 starts and stops the compressor body 1 by using a detection signal of the pressure sensor 26. When switching the compressor body 1 from an operating state to a stop state, the control unit 29 performs the next start of the compressor body 1 after a certain downtime t0 has elapsed. Therefore, even when the compressor body 1 is reversely rotated based on compressed air remaining in the introducing pipe 14, the compressor body 1 is not started during the reverse rotation.
