PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector for locking and unlocking operation frequency, confirming the locking and unlocking operation frequency in simple constitution. SOLUTION: This detector for the locking and unlocking operation frequency detects the locking and unlocking operation frequency of a locking and unlocking mechanism 10 for moving back and forth a dead bolt 11 to a lock receiver provided on the door frame 4 side to achieve locking and unlocking of a lock. The detector includes: a detecting part 41 for detecting the projecting operation to output a detection signal when the dead bolt 11 is projected and a count display part 42 for counting up the detection signals output from the detecting part 41 and displaying the count value as the locking and unlocking operation frequency of the locking and unlocking mechanism 10.
