PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide construction equipment which allows the operator to easily pass through an upper revolving body when the operator carries out inspection, repairing work, etc. of the upper revolving body, to thereby improve the maintenance efficiency. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the construction equipment, a cab 24 is arranged on a laterally left side of a straight line L-L longitudinally extending via a rotation center O of a revolving frame 12, while a mounting bracket 21 for mounting thereon working device 5 is arranged on a laterally right side, that is opposite to the cab 24 with respect to the straight line L-L, and thus a passing space 28 through which the operator can pass, is secured between the cab 24 and the mounting bracket 21. Therefore when maintenance of an engine 22 etc. or oiling work etc. to a fuel tank 26 is carried out, by passing through the passing space 28 arranged adjacent to the cab 24, the operator can easily ride on/off a building cover 27 without largely detouring in order to avoid the working device 5.
