PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily absorb the displacement of the center of a pile, caused by the accuracy of the construction of the pile, and enhance the workability of the fixation of an upper structure, when the pile and the upper structure are joined together by means of a joint device. SOLUTION: A pile head cap 20 is fixed to an upper end of the pile 10 in such a manner as to cover it; the H-shaped longitudinal-section joint device 30 is horizontally placed on the top surface of the pile head cap 20; either of two parallel plates 31 and 32 of the joint device 30 is fixed onto the top surface of the pile head cap 20; and the upper structure A is fixed onto the top surface of the other one of the two parallel plates 31 and 32 of the joint device 30.
