PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeper for a railroad, which can prevent a sleeper body from being shrunk and deflection-deformed in the molding of the sleeper body, even if the sleeper body is molded from a synthetic resin, and which can prevent the sleeper body from being damaged by a load acting on the sleeper body. SOLUTION: A plurality of hollow portions, which continuously pass through the sleeper body in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper body, are formed in the columnar sleeper body 110 of the sleeper 10 for the railroad.
