PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin, containing an unsaturated fatty acid, especially a leave-on type external preparation for skin, which can mask or harmonize the odor of the unsaturated fatty acid, when coated on the skin, can pleasantly be used by users, can leave the pleasant odor for several hours after coated, and can retain the effect for masking the odor of the unsaturated fatty acid for a long time. SOLUTION: This external preparation for skin comprises ingredients (A) and (B). The ingredient (A) : a 14 to a18C unsaturated fatty acid ingredient, and the ingredient (B) : a perfume composition comprising perfume ingredients (b1) and (b2).
