PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load supporting device for a load storage rack with a pair of right and left load receiving members 3 formed long in a load carrying-in/out direction and horizontally mounted inside both right and left partition wall frames 2 in a load storage section 1, adopting a base isolation structure to improve earthquake resistance. SOLUTION: The load supporting device for the load storage rack comprises the pair of right and left load receiving members 3 formed long in the longitudinal depth direction (X-direction) of the load storage section 1 and horizontally mounted inside both right and left partition wall frames 2 in the load storage section 1. The load receiving members 3 each have a circular load receiving face 3a concentric with a horizontal axial center (the axial center of a horizontal supporting shaft 8) located right thereunder parallel to the longitudinal depth direction (the X-direction). They are supported longitudinally movable along the horizontal axial center (the axial center of the horizontal supporting shaft 8) and rotatable in a certain range around the horizontal axial center (the axial center of the horizontal supporting shaft 8). An energizing means 10 is also provided for energizing and holding the load receiving members 3 at certain positions in the longitudinal movement range and at neutral positions in a rotation range.
