PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rear structure of a vehicle body capable of bearing an input load by distributing the load in a rear surface collision, and improved in rigidity of a suspension fitting part of a right and a left rear wheels. SOLUTION: A cross member 10 is provided to be connected between a right and a left rear frames 2 and 2 extending in the back and forth direction of a vehicle body. The cross member 10 comprises a suspension fitting part, spare pan frames 20A and 20B connected to the cross member 10 and extending backward of the vehicle from the cross member 10 to hold a spare pan 5, and a pair of a right and a left tank frames 30 and 30 connected to the cross member 10 at a position near a central part in the cross direction of the vehicle body and extended to be spread right and left of the vehicle body from the cross member 10 and connected to the right and the left rear frames 2 and 2 or side sills S and S.
