PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder capable of performing correction of a conveyance amount of a medium based on a correction value of another medium stored in a memory even when the size of the medium is different from that of the another medium. SOLUTION: This recorder comprises a head for recording on a medium, a conveyance mechanism including a roller at the upstream side of the head and a roller at the downstream side thereof and being adapted to convey the medium according to a targeting conveyance amount to be a target in a conveyance direction, a memory for storing a plurality of correction values correlated to relative positions between the medium and the head with respect to the medium having a prescribed size, and a controller that controls the conveyance mechanism to allow it to convey the medium while correcting the targeting conveyance amount by using a part of correction values a plurality of times in the correction values to be used when the medium in the prescribed size is conveyed by means of both of the rollers at the upstream and downstream sides in the case where the recording is carried out on the medium having the size greater than the prescribed size.
