PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitter and a signal transmission method capable of reducing distortion power inside and outside a band.

SOLUTION: The signal transmitter comprises an OFDM signal generation means for generating OFDM signals, a distortion power calculation means for calculating the distortion power in the case of performing peak power reduction processing in the respective symbols of the OFDM signals, and a peak power reduction means for performing the peak power reduction processing in the respective symbols of the OFDM signals corresponding to the calculated distortion power. The OFDM signals after the peak power reduction processing are power-amplified and transmitted.
