<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that can vary the developer storage capacity, and to provide a manufacturing method of an image forming structure. <P>SOLUTION: In step S10, the image forming structure is disassembled so that a first jointed member having no developer storage function may be separated from the developing device body. In step S12, the developer device body is machined so that a connection hole is made in the developing device body.
