BIFURCATED ENDOLUMINAL PROSTHESIS AND ITS INTRODUCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bifurcated endoluminal prosthesis sufficiently satisfying requirements when being used in approaching to a bifurcation or extending across the bifurcation of the artery or vein; and its delivering system.

SOLUTION: The system for delivering an endoluminal prosthesis into the vasculature of a body adjoining to a bifurcation where a blood vessel branches into two branched vessels is provided with (a) a bifurcated endoluminal prosthesis having a proximal portion adapted to be disposed in the blood vessel and a plurality of distal portions, one at a maximum, adapted to be disposed at least partially in one of the two branched vessels, (b) an outer sheath constituted to include the bifurcated endoluminal prosthesis, and (c) a pusher slidably disposed at least partially within the outer sheath and adapted to come into contact with the end portion of the bifurcated endoluminal prosthesis in a pushing state.
