<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for detecting a full state and a near-full state of a cleaning device at high precision. <P>SOLUTION: A film-like partition member 74 is provided in the form of an arch in an inlet part 66 of a detection chamber 64. After pressure of toner accumulated in a housing chamber 52 becomes a prescribed pressure or higher, the partition member 74 is opened and the toner enters the inside of the detection chamber 64. A pair of groove parts 68A and 68B are provided on the bottom face of the detection chamber 64, and sensors 70A and 70B for detecting accumulation of the toner are arranged respectively in the grooves. The full state and the near-full state are detected by detecting the accumulation of the toner to the groove parts 68A and 68B at two detection positions. Since each groove part 68A and 68B is arranged in the detection chamber 64 partitioned from the housing chamber 52 via the partition member 74, the full and near-full states are prevented from being detected in the state where the housing chamber 52 is not full and detection precision is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
