<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a failure that an original output result is not available from occurring in the case of suspending plotting processing due to interruption in the middle of the processing of a job whose both-side printing, sort printing and stapling are set. <P>SOLUTION: A control flow shown by a figure is made to correspond to printing on both sides. Plotting processing to be started from the interpretation of PDL data is performed for every page (the loop of S202 to S206), and a stop request(interruption) is checked in the beginning of processing, and when the stop request is present, whether a current page to be processed in both-side printing is a surface or back face is checked (S212), and when the current page is the surface, the processing is not immediately stopped but returned to the loop, and the next page is processed, and the processing is let to pass through the flow and stopped after the processing of the back face (S215). Thus, it is possible to acquire a normal processing result without producing any printed matter whose back face is not printed or any printed matter whose surface/back faces are inverted after resumption under the control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
