PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the hit rate and effective range of large-sized canister while allowing a sabot type cartridge maintaining hit accuracy only by using a spiral barrel, to be effectively fired from a smooth barrel and allowing a canister for birds and beasts not effectively usable from the spiral barrel, to be effectively fired. SOLUTION: A plurality of spiral groove like structures or linear groove like structures are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the sabot. The sabot type cartridge conventionally used only in the spiral barrel can thereby be accurately fired from the smooth barrel, and a canister for birds and beasts can be fired also from the spiral barrel while securing appropriate barrage.
