A hydrocarbon trap connected with an air cleaner housing is provided to prevent air pollution and to reduce the amount of harmful gas which is introduced into a vehicle by collecting the hydrocarbon from harmful gas using a diffuser trap. An air cleaner housing(100) has an inlet formed at one part of an air cleaner body to lead external air in and a guide member, an end of which is curved to be fitted at left and right sides of the inlet. A hydrocarbon trap connected with the air cleaner housing comprises a diffuser trap(200) having a body unit(210) and a filter unit(220). The body unit, shaped in a pipe, in connected to the inlet. The body unit which has a plate-shaped insert piece is connected with the guide member. The filter unit is installed along the body unit to collect hydrocarbon. The hydrocarbon is discharged when driving a vehicle or stopping the vehicle.
