PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic focus adjustment structure for a camera, the structure being designed, such that a guide structure comprising a recess tank and a projection that is engaged with the recess tank is provided, and a lens is stably expanded/contracted. SOLUTION: The automatic focus adjusting structure for the camera includes a lens module; a permanent magnet surrounding the lens module; at least one coil base set on one side of the permanent magnet; and a coil wound around the coil base. The lens module has a lens barrel and a lens mounted in the lens barrel, and between the lens barrel and coil base, the recess tank and the projection are formed so as to guide the lens to expand/contract.
