PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance device which completes a destination guidance in a manner where the intent of a user is reflected appropriately. SOLUTION: The route guidance device 100 comprises: a one's-own-vehicle position detection section 102 that is connected with an input device 130 allowing the user to input the information and detects the position of the own vehicle; and a route guidance section 104 for guiding the route to a destination set via an inputting means (hereinafter referred to as "the set destination"). The route guidance section 104 has: first guidance mode where the route guidance is continued until the own-vehicle position reaches a predetermined first distance L1 from the set destination; and second guidance mode where the route guidance is continued until the own-vehicle position reaches a second distance L2 longer than the first distance from the set destination. The route guidance section 104 comprises a mode switch section 112 for changing the guidance mode of the route guidance section 104 in response to a change command input via the input device 130.
