PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically switch data for a first active application data set and data for a second active application data set in a transceiver including a plurality of subchannels. SOLUTION: The subchannels are allocated to the one or more applications in the first application set. When dynamically moved to communicating data for the second application set, the subchannels are allocated again to the communicating data in the second application set. The data rates of subchannels are modified according to communication requirements. In addition, transmitting data for an Internet access application are switched to transmitting data for an Internet access application and a voice telephony application. Further, the ABCD voice telephony signaling bits is transmitted with either the data from the Internet access application or the data from the voice telephony application.
