PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for monitoring a switch that surely notifies a user that on-vehicle devices remains turned on. SOLUTION: The system for monitoring switches 5 to 7, 16 includes on/off detection means 5a to 9a, 16a for detecting the states of switches 5 to 9, 16 for the loads of an on-vehicle battery, and a communication means 12 for reporting to the outside if the on/off detection means 8a, 9a for an IG switch 8 and an ACC switch 9 detect that the switches are turned off and if either of the other on/off detection means 5a to 7a, 16a detects that a corresponding switch is on. The system also includes a reception means 22 built in a key 3 for receiving a notification from the communication means 12; a means 17 for reporting the notification to the outside; and a determining means 15 for determining whether or not the voltage value of the on-vehicle battery measured with a voltmeter 10 is lower than a predetermined voltage, if either of the on/off detection means 5a to 7a, 16a detects that a corresponding switch is on. When the determining means 15 determines that the voltage is lower than the predetermined voltage, the communication means 12 notifies the fact to the reception means 22 of the key 3.
