PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical film roll by which a liquid crystal panel homogeneous over a wide area can be obtained even when it is for a large-sized liquid crystal display of high image quality and which is excellent in smoothness of a film surface. SOLUTION: An optical film is wound around the outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical core as an axis to form the optical film roll.
