PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive evaluation device which can report hazardous nature of a testee's driving and offer appropriate advice. SOLUTION: A driving operation measuring means measures respective operations given to a driving operation device. A travel position specifying means specifies a travel position. A model driving operation storage means previously stores operation data on model drives measured by the driving operation measuring means. A driving operation comparing means compares operation data on a testee, measured by the driving operation measuring means with the operation data on the model drives, according to the travel position. A traveling place storage means stores the position of a traveling place, set previously to a portion of a predetermined travel course. An advice-presenting means presents an advice associated with the traveling place, when the differences in the operation data that the driving operation comparing means compares at the traveling place satisfy the predetermined conditions.
