PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the cross-sectional images of a tooth and a gum part by optical coherent tomography in a dental optical tomographic image display system. SOLUTION: An oscillation wavelength is scanned with a definite range using a light source 11 to be thrown on a probe 15A. An interference optical meter and a light deflection part are provided in the probe 15A to scan a measuring band to irradiate the same with signal light. The scattered light from the detection target is allowed to interfere with reference light in the probe 15A to guide interference light to the outside. The interference light is subjected to Fourier transform to obtain an image signal in a depth direction and this image is arranged on the basis of the deflection direction of light to obtain a two-dimensional tomographic image.
