PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical timepiece with frictional resistance of a support part for a rotary member reduced during rotation and structured so as to inhibit the rotary member from inclining. SOLUTION: This mechanical timepiece is equipped with an inside rotary member 220 rotating based on the rotation of a gear train, a plurality of roller bearings 230 disposed on a peripheral part of the rotary member 220, and a roller propping member including a roller propping surface disposed so as to have a gap with respect to a peripheral surface of the roller bearing. The roller bearings 230 each comprise annular rollers and a roller stabilizing member stabilizing the rollers so as to allow them to rotate relative to the rotary member 220.
