PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for breaker cushion reducing tanδ, enhancing complex modulus of elasticity, and suppressing reduction of elongation in breakage in use, and to provide a breaker cushion using the same. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the rubber composition for breaker cushion comprising 100 pts.wt. of a diene based rubber, 1.8-3.0 pts.wt. of sulfur and 1.0-3.7 pts.wt. of zinc oxide.
